Anyone driving on Toyo Proxes? Specifically TPT's. Thinking of trying them out and wondering if they are a decent tire in sun and snow.

I bought the toyo proxy FZ4's and I'm really impressed with this tire it grips like mad, but this is more a performance tire so for the winter no idea, but the tire guy told me that they will be better then my g-force's which I left on during the winter anyways the tpt's no idea on those.

The Toyo Proxes FZ4 are advertised as a performance all-season tire. For an SVT...I'd probably just find some steel rims and get some winter tires.

I know Chris has had Proxes on his car before. He told me they were okay...just that during its life, they tend to get really noisy.

My search for the perfect all season tire is still on going however I think I see the light at the end of tunnel. After considering the proxes I looked at the bridgestone RE950's. Nice tire but read several complaints about their winter performance. Next, I looked at the Michelin Pilot XTGH4's another decent tire but I was still reading conflicting reports about road noise and tread life. Then I was told about the Dunlop Sport A2's.....they just won best all season tire in Consumer Reports. On tire rack the reviews seem to be consistant and good.....and only $144/tire installed and balanced. This looks like the tire I will be going with unless I find something else between now and Thursday.

Crappy Tire sells these tires (Dunlop A2) and they come sale quite regularly. Keep your eyes open.

Just called Crappy tire....$167/tire without install and balance! yikes, not even close to my other quote. Thanks for the tip though maybe I will call another store and see what price they give me.
