for the 2.5 # 2S7Z-6675-AA,appears to only have a couple of extra 'weirs' at the shallow end below the timing chain cover/gears....nothing 'new' in the main pan area below the bolt in baffle.....just an FYI..

Terry,
Do you know if this is the part number for the pan that BAT sells?

Terry,
I would assume then it doesn't do anything for the oil starvation problem?
Would it (in your opinion) help at all?

From the design it looks like a patch cure for the right hand sweeper syndrome.
The running the pan out of oil at high rpms is a drainage problem. Nothing short of more or larger drain holes would fix that. (Running extra oil is a patch cure for this)

It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.

Accusump, if you have the money. I have great confidence with 9 quarts of oil. My oil pressure gauge never drops below 15 psi on hard cornering. Canton Racing is a great bunch of guys, and they will help you in any way with the install of the unit. Helped me fix some installation problems...

I have run my SVT at Portland quite a number of times...I think it's turn's 4,5 and 6 that are basically 1 long right hand sweeper, and I have never seen the oil pressure drop at all. Of course I wasn't really focused on the guage all that much, but I was glancing at it... I run a bit more oil just in case, but has anyone actually ever seen the pressure drop?? I use mechanical guages, so maybe they don't react as fast.

Wouldn't there have to be a pressure drop?
If there's no oil, there'd be no pressure...or so I would assume!
Anyone???
