Actually, as bad as old people are, teens are still, by a pretty good margin, the most dangerous drivers on the road. I will never try to justify some of the outrageous costs people pay for insurance, but the highest rick drivers do pay the most. I had a great record (no tickets) until my car was totalled. I don't get out of the extra costs for another year and a half.
BTW, part of the reason why old people pay so little is they are in so few accidents. This is mainly caused because there are so few of them. Down in Florida, their rates are quite a bit more because they account for more of the accidents in that area. I guess that can't resist kicking Neil's GVR4s ass with their old Buicks....
