I dont think any event that you are driving your own personal car in will be covered by your insurance unless you can obtain a special type of coverage (which I dont think even exists). The policies that we get (SVTOA) for our events covers liablity and I think some personal injury stuff. Insurance for track events is very difficult to get. That is why you sign your life away when you attend track events waivers and such. But they are still worth going and having some fun. If you are not stupid and follow the rules you can be safe and still have some fun.
