If my CEL isn't lit, does that mean that the computer isn't throwing an error code? I am trying to diagnose a problem and want to know if it worth my time to go to Autozone to have them check for a code.
Not sure if Autozone's scanner can pick up any Pending Trouble Codes. Basically, that's a baby CEL that doesn't light the lamp (yet) but can/will soon. Worse comes to worse, they scan and find nothing. Al it costs you is your time.
