I was just on ebay and saw this, it comes with k&n, has the attachment plate, and comes with the pipe which erradicates the accordian tube for the price of the kkm. Even the filter doesent seem to be inverted, so that too can help with hp. What do you think Intake

If you did a search you would have noticed I posted stuff about this intake as well earlier this month. Several people on here own this intake. If you keep watching he putts several up for buy it now 88.99 about once a week or so. I am thinking of either getting this intake or the SHo SHop...the only thing with this is that you need to either build or buy a heatshield.

Someone said that if you have a non SVT then you have to do some little things to this to get it to work...just FYI. Also the estimates he makes on gains of both hp and torque seem high...maybe that is to the crank though.

The KKM, Mirko, etc MAF adapters are all CNC-machined billet aluminum. IIRC the MAF adapters on ebay are basically a section of metal aluminum pipe welded onto an aluminum plate with a hole cut in it. Notice how they carefully avoid head-on pictures. Be careful, see if he has more pictures.

I ordered one of these kits late on 9-27-02 and I got it today 10-02-02. The MAF adapter is machined billet aluminum and it came with the same KN filter as pictured on Ebay there is a couple small burrs in the Aluminum Piping part this is an easy fix with a small file or a Dremel. I will post pictures if I can get my buddy's digital camera. For the 88.00 plus 9.99 s/h I would get this setup, it is for the 65mm TB would be easy to use on the 60mm TB just get a smaller reducer locally.
