The way I see it is that it's easier, and cheaper to replace the Quaife before your 3l install than it is to purchase a set of headers. There usually is not a waiting period for the Quaife(headers took about 1.5 months), and the Quaife is cheaper! $595+shipping instead of the new header price $660+shipping. So the offer is on the table, they have about 800 miles on them, and are pretty sick! I purchased a Quaife from No Limit motorsports for $555 shipped, so if you want the headers, or know of anyone in need of a set, please let me know.
