I've never heard of the car before this post either, it's definitley an interesting car. The rare factor is pretty cool, but, th elooks just don't do it for me. A 3000GT VR4 is acceptable..but I dunno let's see what you do to is as far as looks go maybe it will grown on me. Good luck with it though. Hopefully you won't be beating up on Contours now or in the future.

I will see if I can find the old '92 Car and Driver comparo where it finished 2nd I think behind the Maxima. The one I drove was all white. Doesn't the heavy steering drive you crazy at low speed? Definitely a sleeper, and very rare.

(This is all bench racing though). I know for a fact you will have some heavy catching up to do right from a launch. A few minor mods put this car into the high 14's easy. It is a very mod friendly car (as are most turbo'd cars).

That DSM is in SWEET condition, but then again you're in FL! If you want some help with your DSM, lemme know. I had a 97 GSX b4 the SVT, and she was tuned like a MOFO, by me, of course! I can port turbos )2 housing and I used to make intake pipes too. BTW, I have a BRAND-NEW 1st gen intake pipe if you ever need it. I could make it into a high flow version if you want. just let me know. If you search the DSM archives for "Anastazi" you'll find a shiz-load of posts from me. Here are some pics of the old BEAST! www.geocities.com/ralliartgsx (yes that is a custom Front-mount IC I made!!

Man, I remember reading about the VR4s way back when I was a youngin'.. Hope you're planning on getting some rims, and maybe a paint job. There's just something about those turbos.. I looked at a 96 Volvo 850R this weekend, put a big grin on my face

Neil,
Are those wheels 4x108 or 4x100? Maybe you can put some E1 wheels on it for a tribute to the SVT :p
