I am selling my car and will be taking out my system over the next day or 2. the original stock radio was the shitty casette deck. If I can get my hands on a ford factory CD player there wouldn't be any issue with putting that in so that I could at least have cd's for the next couple of weeks while I sell the car??? Also, are all of fords factory head units compatible? Would I have to get one out of a contique or could I get one out of any ford?

to get a factory cd player work is a pita. I tryed, if you don't have premium sound it is a no go. the cd player doesn't have an internal amp and you need the factory one to run it. The one plug will fit the radio but the speaker plug is different from the one that runs to the factory amp. The better way to go is us a portable cd player, I don't see trying worth the time if you are selling the car.
