My 2 cents !!!!
lot of trouble to change chains & tensioners,as long as the rattle stops when the oil pressure 'kicks' I'd be incline to leave it until 1) you go to a 3.0 2)you rebuild/replace the existing motor.
One last point,apart from the chains ,if you change them,all the gears should be checked and changed also,they wear together...$$$$$.
,and check you are using a premium oil filter,one with a good valve to prevent total drain back.Regards TAH (PS new motor before christmas with around #*! HP)
