Just return that intake and make a "poor man's kkm"
Take out your stock airbox and cut the bottom and sides out enough so that your airfilter still covers the intake. Some people also just drill a lot of holes in theirs. I cut out the bottom and sides and it definately give a nice little improvement if nothing else in sound of the engine. If you want to get an idea of what it will sound like, take out your airfilter and start the car and hit the gas, you will hear the improvement. You can also switch to a K&N filter as well.
