I tried Chrisilvers method and it started to get better! It would stay at 750rpms longer than before, but would still drop down to 500 rpms. I am going to try disconecting the battery again and let it sit without touching anything for while. Hopefully this works. I have checked my connections and they all seem fine. Hopefully I can fix this.
