w00t! Just picked up the new/used car. Runs like a top!

My wife and I, along with my friend Greg and his fiance went to go get her tonight. Drove 2.5 hours there and did it all again 30 mins after getting there...

Took her for a test drive and got pulled over in the process! Not to mention I had given my wife my license so she could cash my paycheck! He let us go and things went on....

On I-4 on the way back, she got her first kill laugh . Dodge Neon R/T with a full body
kit, intake (from the sound) and muffler type thingy....He rolled up, I got into it (was in 5th) to keep up with him. He looked over and dropped 4th and stood on it. I did likewise. I was at least 2 cars back on him when I downshifted but caught him easy and walked him. I even had the courtesy to wave buh bye at him....Damn this is gonna be fun!!!!

Anyways, the car is here, pics to come. Just up waiting for JVT and Simon to get their lazy asses here so I can bed down....

Hey Jen!

Nice to see another Wisconsinite on the boards. I live in Appleton, where are you from? Well if you see a Green SVT driving around with KTHS KAR on the plates its me. Talk to you later.

Neal, good news and bad news. At an autocross last year I drove the Audi A6 2.7 liter twin turbo and a Galant VR4 at the same event thanks to the respective owners. The good news is the VR4 was just 3 seconds slower than the Audi. smile

The bad news is my SVT was 2 seconds faster than the VR4 and the VR4 had Kuhmo 712 tires and a Japanese-spec engine. confused

Dude, your losing some speed. The steering is awfully unassisted at low speed. It accelerates well and is pretty balanced but has low overall grip on an autocross course. Good luck with 4 of everything...its biggest strength.
