I need new struts badly (@ 80,000+miles)

I don't think I have enough to do the springs as well. (at least at the moment)

Also... I live in Pottsville PA (Home of Yuengling beer, for you eastern folk) And It's a small city built on 7 hills. I live on top of one of them. One side of the the alleyway up to my garage is steep! I have to swing wide, square up, and go very slow in order not to scrape as it is. The other side up is very crowned (groved in where the tires go) and I scrape in the middle front unless I ride up on the edge of the groves. (a tight squeeze but doable) Actually I think it's only the black piece under the car that scrapes but you get the point.

I haven't ruled out the lower springs later on. I think I can manage a small drop? Though if the Koni's droping a 1/2" rumer is true it may limit me further in the future.

Has any one put on Better Struts (Koni BAT other) with the stock SVT springs?

I wish there was some sort of group by on now?

I'm thinking Bat Sports for now.

a mondeo guy measured his koni perches vs. his stock perches and they were the same. so, i think the koni = 1/2" drop is a rumor.

If the Koni drop is just a rumer. I may try saving the dough. (or selling a kidney)
And go with them instead with stock springs. If I got springs later I'd have to pay more labor later.

though for $60 or so more I can get the BAT Euro handling package (springs and struts)
would save $ doing both springs & struts at once?

Confused and poor.
Was thinking of selling the old girl. Though I still love her to death.
Just put on new VR4s and was going to do the new struts to help compensate for the high miles a bit. But I know once I get the new struts on her, with the new rubber. I'll fall in "LUST" with her all over again.
Then there's less of a chance of selling her. :-)
