RJSauer Junior Member R Joined: Jun 2001 Posts: 2 Minneapolis, MN	FYI - I just had the "pleasure" of replacing my water pump after it crapped out. Lucky for me I was close to home when it did. I put a new complete Ford pump in as nobody had one in town (this is Minneapolis!!!) except for the dealers. It went in without a hitch. It did come with all of the hoses -- I did not replace the hose going under the intake manifold becsue it did look like trouble. My old impeller looked like it had exploded inside of the pump. It was ugly . . . I replaced my thermostat while I was in there too. Good luck! Randy '95 SE MTX

davidavid Member D Joined: May 2001 Posts: 69 oklahoma city	what torque to yield bolts? is this true. does the dealer sell these or can i use grade 8 bolts from a hardware store. also are the torque specs on the water pump really 12-15 in lbs? thats not even finger tight.

conig Member C Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 212 tallahassee,florida,usa	mine just went out ten minutes ago so I have to do the replacing I was under there this past weekend and didn't look all that hard to do cause I looked at it and wondered when it would go out just didn't think it would be 3 days after I got home atleast it wasn't on the highway though. REALLY would like those part numbers autozone and ford. 98 silver frost SVT custom built intake, offroad y-pipe,mystery mod,remote optimizer,short shifter,zex nitrous, lots of stereo, 17 konigs with paradas.(bent) TOTALED do to freak electrical fire?(that started at a wireing harness ford neglected to tell me should have been recalled as they did with the 95se) I miss this car. NEW PROFFESSION AS A TROLL. new car. 2000 dodge dakota 4.7l v8. custombuilt intake, custom exhaust, kennebell pcm, and electric fan conversion, 180 stat, 3.55 pegleg, my old stereo system, 17x7 billets and 255-50 nitto 450 tires. next drop and traction adders. g-tech 14.5 in search of 95 se fivespeed to hang contourparts on.
