At least in 97 when mine was made, the sport package could be added to the GL's. Basically it was leather wheel, spoiler and 15" alloy wheels, and it came w/ the SE suspension too. Mines a sport, but I was robbed of my leather wrapped wheel. After 98, ford got crazy and decontented everything and made these cars cheaper in quality, hence all the 98+ SE's w/ 4cyl engines and 14" hubcaps... Stupid ford...
