Wow! Everyone b|tched and moaned when we made headers like that for the Duratec. Glad to see some consistancy!

Those are great numbers Tom. We'll have some new/better numbers here in a bit with our new engine management and cooler air temps.

Just for a rough comparison, though maybe a valid one since the weight, times and trap are almost exactly the same:

2000 Corvette C-5
12.92@109MPH at Tulsa Speedway
Weight: 3223 Lbs.
Street Tires (Goodyear RunFlats, which are heavy and crap for traction, IMHO)
Temps: Around 55-60 degrees

Sorry I don't have a time slip or the exacts of the run (R/T, 1/8, etc.), but this was done this Spring on an unplanned whim. All I've done is a Vortex Rammer, Catback Borla, x-pipe, and Granatelli MAF.

I've yet to dyno but folks with similar setups have gotten 320-340RWHP, IIRC.

Jim, you really can't compare that car unless we have some Hp ratings with the car weight also.

I'm betting that he needs a shorter set of slicks to get the MPH back up. Common problem, especially when you can't get any wider tires to fit on your car (you compensate by running a taller tire to reduce wheel spin). I had the same problem on my old '70 vette that trapped low for it's ET. Went to a shorter slick (26" vs. 28") and went quicker by two tenths and faster by 4-5 MPH because I could both hook up AND still had the closer to optimal final gearing with the shorter tires. Simple.

Ok for people like deamonsvt that just cant take a focus running faster than a contour or more power this is what happen

light turned green wheel spin in first and second ,hit third gear wheel spin stops hit nitrous go to 4th gear at about 4 car length from the line i tryed to go to 5th because i hit the rev. limit ,I missed 5th and coasted through the lights

there is nothing claimed about my hp fst4dr has been to my dyno and has seen it and if you would like the time slip saying focus class # 12 on it i would be glad to show it

i have a 4.06 gear and a set of M/T 22X8 and i need to go back to the 3.82 gear or go to a set of 26x8.5 because i cant run the 1320 with out hitting the rev limit about 40foot from the line and its to hard to hit 5th gear

Damn that's slow!

I've seen regular WS6's run that fast!

With a S/C he should be low 12's easily...

My best friends buddy at school has an 01 with a Pro-charger that hit 11.9's. It's scary fast!!!

5th gear?

How small are the tires???

You are nutz if you are running that small of a tire!

Also I don't care what engine makes more power. I am just saying that power claim plus a 75 shot and 12.9 @ 109 are not even remotely in the same ballpark. It's easy to jump up and spike the numbers on a static dyno compared to in the real world. (race gas, ice, timing, fans, etc)
You claim these numbers like everyone that buys the kit will get these 100% of the time (I.E. real world) just by purchasing & installing your kit.
I don't buy it for a second, but then that's my prerogative to do so.

I think I am more amazed the stock short block could hold said power myself!

That's what I was thinking. That puppy should be running consistent LOW low 12's or mid to high 11's (properly kitted and driven). Maybe traction problems throughout the ENTIRE run???
