is putting it in the floor even an option? the car i saw put something around 6" drivers in the floor because that's the only way it would sound right in their car. maybe you could do the same (just make sure you have a strong grill over them).

I took a look and I don't think in the floor will work without hacking a hole in the floor and welding in a new sheetmetal tub. I can do that but I don't think I want to start that kind of thing with snow on the ground. I guess we'll see how I feel in the spring...
it must suck to have snow. i've seen only an inch of snow in my life.
