I think what your saying makes sense, but the other one looks good cause they can paint it the same color as the car and with the Sparco ones its better to leave them the way they are, so you guys both have a point, "If you the painted model ones are too much I would go with the Sparco ones myself.

I think the idea of a fuel door with a lock for the contour is a great idea. I just have one problem. I don't like being told that I am incompetent and that my ideas look like crap. I don't know who taught you how to sell but whoever they are they probably couldn't sell an ice powered heater to an eskimo in the middle of winter. Do you really think anyone would be interested in a product where they hire a person to basicly come and tell the customer that their ideas SUCK, and to buy their's. In fact I would have to say that the only thing that looks like crap to me would have to be your fuel door (especially the Cobra emblemed one). Your idea is a good one, but your sales pitch needs a hell of alot of work. Just my opinion!!

First of all, I never said your idea was incompetent.
Secondly, My sales awards speak for themselves.
Thirdly, In your profile you call yourself a bum...your not my target market.
Finally, go ahead and put a MUSTANG DOOR on a Contour..suits you fine.

the mustang doors look and fit well on the contour (i've seen in person), so please stop bustin' on that, it's a ford fuel door on another ford and it doesn't look akward at all, and it doesn't cause any problems..... now about your fuel door, if you do make one, i'll get in on it sometime next year (gotta pay for body kit now )i think that electric opening (especially wired to a keyless control) is tight.

man i sense the hostility in this room ~ I would like to say first the Mustang door does not look bad on the contour with some elbow grease and alittle shoving h re and there~ I helped a buddy put one on his car and it was a B#$^% but it looked good when we got done! But this guys is trying to sell something that will be easy and look Right (not that the mustang door doesnt) and plus...THE COBRA one looked like CRAP?~?~?~?~ YEA right, that thing was soo nice it wasn't even funny~! i would love to have that if i had a cobra~ Anyway...You get the COMPLETE details. post them up, and i'll let you know if i'm in~~~

The last time I respond within this thread, but you need to stop looking down at us! "However, contour owners are getting a reputation of asking for things, having them produced and not buying them." I'm not sure why you came in this with such a bad attitude! But you "salesmanship" and all your sales awards have sold me on other options other than your fuel door. I'm going for spite in this case.
