Along the same line, how would one be able to tell if the w/p was getting ready to fail? Or is there such a magical method? I replaced my thermostat this weekend and the car runs cooler, but not much (probably because the only one I could find was rated @ 195 deg). Anyway, I ask because I can watch the coolant reservoir fill up and empty out while the car is running. Shouldn't it be empty the entire time the car is running? Also, I don't know how much pressure should be in the hoses, but I can squeeze them the same whether the car is running or not (except they're hotter when it's running shocked ). I really don't want this thing overheating on me.

Can't wait till my Water Wetter gets here!
