An IN-LINE filter is not the correct solution with what knowledge we currently have.
If you have, or are having your transmission rebuilt, I would strongly suggest
getting your hands on the FilterTek filter and have it installed
as part of the rebuild.

Either way, changing the fluid every 12,000 miles, and installing a tranny oil cooler is a MUST.

i choose to change the oil every 6000 miles, the fact that i could have potenial problems with these mods, i dont need the headache of tran problems, its not broke, so...

i would rather spend my money on other mods, "i dont tow any thing", is what my mechanic told me when i asked him about this mod and once i start to mess with the tranny, my luck it will be dead in a month

still no mods yet still learning

Did you READ the Press Release ?

What do you think the award was given for ?

I read the press release.....did the press release say if the results were from lab tests or from actual data from the field ?

I work for a large manufacturing company. I have seen our marketing. I am skeptical when a press release quotes numbers but not their source. The reliability numbers (IMO) are probably from a lab test using a transmission on a test stand. The filter reliability was probably a test stand too. I believe they received the results that are posted and won the award. What I don't know, is, are these filters in use now? The press realease was a year ago. How many transmissions have 150000 miles on them this year?

Not saying they are lying. Just saying to read between the lines. Lab results don't always translate into field results. that why I asked " Did it solve the problem?"
