anyone ever tried to dye their seat belts. i'm going to try to dye my champagne/beige seat belts black to match my new interior

I just used a black permanent marker.

Since they're made from a woven plastic, I think you would need something like the spraypaint for vinyl upholstery, although this is something that maybe shouldn't be messed with. It shouldn't be too hard to track down some black ones & just change them out.

you just want to make sure that whatever you use doesn't have a reaction that will weaken the webbing. Petroleum products do wierd things to some plastics, while others are perfectly fine.
