The best I ran is a 16.1 in my '99 SVT. All i have is removed resonator and a cold air intake. It doesn't help that the wear-bars are showing in my tires though. I broke them loose in every gear Thats got to slow me down some.
Also, what kind of cars are you guys running against during test and tune? It seems that every time i get setup against some 700 hp muscle car with no exhaust. The guy started it and I fricking jumped out of my seat. Talk about intimidation!

Best time to date for me, was a 15.1 @92 but here's the junk part, this was done on a very "known" slow track. Tracks on the OuterIslands like Maui and BigIsland run consistently 4-5tenths and more faster than the 1/4 strip in Honolulu. 1st the track was set into the tradewinds which can get fairly strong regularly, this alone holds the car from getting strong numbers than the fact that the launch pad is not the greatest making for average 2.5-2.6 60' times. Racing with the wind and a very good launch pad, the car should have no problems doing 14.7 @95 all night.

dont forget everyone he has a dmd, which is good for around 8hp loss due to the added weight to the crank. anyone with a dmd are going to be slower then a car without.

I am thinking you are joking, but not sure. if you are serious please tell me how you gained horse power by adding 4 more lbs to the crank?????? if you are joking, then I am saying this to someone who might think you were serious.

Micah

adding weight does not add power.

still cant happen, you must have done some mods or something. you cant and I will repeat cant gain power by adding weight at the crank. every pound added to the crank is something like 2.25hp loss or gain if you lose a pound. maybe I shouldnt say gained but freed. the dmd is like 4lbs heavier then stock which means pretty much 9hp is lost by doing a dmd, if the 2.25 calcs are right.
