Class D is an amplifier classifications. They got the "D" designation based on how the amp circuitry works. With a class D amp, transistors are switched on or off. The on/off switching is similar to the 1s and 0s used in the digital domain. There is no way to amplify 1s and 0s, hence no such thing as a digital amplifier. They tend to stay much cooler than a lot of other amps i've had experience with. I really don't see anything bad about them, except for the price (especially here ). I wish I could've waited a bit more for other options. But and all, they're good amps. I wouldn't use their subs though IMO. They're decent, but just not my taste.
