if the engine is seized..which i doubt BTW, then try to turn it over, if it tries to crank and just pops and doesn't move then maybe...watch the serp belt off the crank if it jumpswhile cranking and then locks upmaybe there right but it does'nt sound right. 3 months ago i saved a 1990 corsica 3.1 that was run 3 miles with the drain plug off and it just died...filled it up with oil and teaspoon in each cylinder..after 4 attempts at cranking it turned over and has been fine ever since (probably 6000 miles) and the engine is just as quiet as it was before the incident..the 3.1 is a tough engine, as this has 140000 miles on it but i can't imagine the duratech is that much weaker... the test for the siezed engine sounds unscientific because i'm tired but it should help i think..try it. Bottom line is if it's seized then everything else that cranks the engine over should work..starter etc.. does that make sense...good luck
