I don't believe it has a release from the glove box which is probably why it wasn't originally programmed. And yes, I think it is somewhat ugly, and big too. But its even uglier since the textured plastic has been rubbed smooth from wear and all 3 symbols have rubbed off
. Although, I want to get a new remote soon because the remote is about as old as the car (July '99) and soon i will rub right down to the battery and circuits. I don't believe i will reprogram the new one. Just get a better looking one and replace the chips and battery. But it's not quite as ugly as the new tiburon remote. The unlock button is about this big... | | !
