Hi,
I've got a 98 SVT and for quiet sometime it's been acting a bit weird. Most of the time it happens when it's humid outside and it increases when the A/C is on.
Typically what happens is that when I start it up, the engine goes to 2000 RPM for a 1s or 2 when goes down in idling mode ... When it does that I know it's going to do the following :
- when I change gear (up or down) the engine will slightly accelerate on its own which is pretty painful when down shifting.
I brought the car several times to my Ford dealer and they couldn't find anything wrong at that time.
Does anybody have exprecienced that ?
