Recently tried and failed to install a rear set of braided stainless steel brake lines purchased from BAT. The stock clips that are used to hold the brake lines to fenderwell brackets are too thin for the grooves of the fittings supplied by BAT. In a post on the old forum I believe one person said he used two clips per side to attach the lines to the brackets. Have learned Ford no longer makes the clips for Contours or Cougars. The brake line clips for a Focus are a completely different plastic design. Any thoughts or solutions? I'd search the old forums again if they were available. Are the old forums up again yet? I can't find them if they are. Any help would be appreciated.
