I don't know if this has been talked about, but what if you were to have a tube that was hooked up to dry ice and ran to your open air intake. My friend and I were just dicussing this tonight and I thought it was a great idea. Just wondering is anyone has tried such a thing, I'm sure it would give you a fairly large HP boost. Maybe something else that would work is to have a tube running from the fender or the front of the car, and have a little container in the pipe itself and put a chunck of dry ice in it. Then have that pipe running to the filter, kind of similar to what some people have done, but the air would be a $hit load colder. Anyways what are your guys thoughts on this.

doubt the effort would be worth it....and anyways dry ice gives off carbon dioxide...don't know how well the engine would react to it...vey creative idea though...too much trouble though i'd imagine..

one could just have a dry ice fueled refridgerator around the intake...

Dry ice is frozen CO2.

since winters around the corner, route your A/C to your intake!

I'm just curious.. how about like a small O2 tank.. instead of opening up all the way, just open it up very little.. So it would be like driving in lower altitudes. Maybe you could have a computer regulate it, so you don't fry your engine.

yes, adding O2 will increase power, but it will have the same negative effects on the engine as nitorus oxide. The reason nitrous oxide is used over pure oxygen is that the nitrous is a more stable compound especially at the high temperatures and pressures found inside the engine.
