OHHH.. that makes a world of differents when you say 170 mph and 170 hp..

well its not that bad.. remember its easy to modify.. you can bump up a extra 20 hp or so by chipping it..

Wrong forum perhaps?

I think the Mazdaspeed Protege looks damn good. 1/4 mile at 15.3 and handles like a dream. SCC loved it.

Silly, if you want UMPH, you would not be leaving your car stock anyway. At least it is already set up for a turbo, that makes upgrading it a lot easier! Take the Supra for example, you can upgrade a TT pretty good...but adding a turbo to an N/A...not fun.

Actaully in Motor Trend it has listed 0-60mph 6.5 and the 1/4 14.9@93.2 mph,
It has alot of potential and IMO good looks, A 450 watt kenwood system that comes with it. Only PROBLEM i see is it's brother is a ford Who knows maybe mazda dealers treat there customers better then ford dealers?

I love the Mazda6...I had a 626 and sold it for the SVT. That might just be my next car- comes to dealers here in NH in December. I've got a dealer calling me when the first one comes in!

We also have Protege5 (slow, yet fun!). Just thought I'd add that!
