If dropping 4lbs off the stock pulley & undedriving it 20% gains ~2FWHP then adding 1lb might drop a tenths or so by itself. Then take into account the less flexing the crank is doing a higher rpms and you probably end up gaining performance!
I did state it is
worth it. Plain and simple. Do it, get it, revel in the new found smoothness of the motor. But, you will lose some power.
