I thought weight off the wheels that are creating the rotating inertia would increase perfromance, figured that's why people were buying CF hoods beyond the fact it would enhance the handling, braking, etc. . .I could be wrong. . .just makes sense that less weight on the front is as beneficial on acceleration as lowering the unsprung weight on the wheels that drive the car (FWD in our case). . .i'm obviously open to corrections, as I came to this conclusion myself from reading, not from practical application on our cars. . .
