That would be the steering knuckle. Fairly easy to remove once you have the right tools (32mm. socket & 3 jaw puller, better make that a BIG puller!), and grab a copy of the Haynes Manual ( buy or borrow - your library should have a copy, but worth buying for other things) Did both of mine last year on the driveway. I think they were around $50Cdn. each from Lordco [with discount!:)] I rented the puller from Westside Rentals, a local place that rents tools, de-thatchers etc.for $8/day. I borrowed the socket from Canadian Tire the first time, no charge. I bought the socket second bearing as I forgot to pick it up in town from Canadian Tire. Cost $20.
Lower control arm takes a bit of leverage, I used a 3 foot length of re-bar. I did split a CV boot and a ball joint boot the first time, but the second one I managed like a pro!
My local Kal Tire pushed & pulled bearings in/out for $20 a time-cheap.
All prices are in Canadian funds before tax. Bring your car round, and I'll do for a couple cases of beer!!!!! (Canadian beer though...LOL)
