IIRC there was 1 or 2 versions of the system over the years. Personally I love my T/C on the Contour and wish my Mystique had it to. Case in point there was a freezing rain storm last March. I run a pizza store and several of my drivers were having trouble getting around. In one case a street with a considerable incline in ice was required to have a couple of deliveries. My one driver went there and had to park the car @ the bottom of the hill as he couldn't get up it. I took the second order about 10 min later. Got to the bottom of the hill and pushed down on the pedal not letting go till I got to the top of the hill. Yes the T/C system made a hell of alot of noise, but I was litterally up the hill in no time. So to me the system is very functional. As proof that I don't know how to drag I got one of my best times while the T/C was on . Guess I need to work on my launches.
Still 16 flat is not to bad with the T/C on.
