put the scoop near the filter...but kinda in front if it, so looking through the hole you can't really see the filter, then you (the buyer) can put the "flap" inthere to avoid any type of water spilling on the filter. I plan to do that, as well s build a cold air box around the filter, with a hole in the bottom so cold air flows in the scoop and out the bottom of the engine bay. Scoop problem solved. Stazi has cossie vents on his hood...right over where the belts are. No problems with water he said, just gets flung off when you start the car. i didn't realise with demon's design though, the vents are right over the coil pack.....I'd hate to have to change hoods when the weather is bad....Perhaps move them down a bit so they are clorse to the top of th eengine, no harm in the uim getting wet. Or maybe the jag vents might be a better option. I really don't car, I got what I want, and that is the scoop!!!
