P0741 is a bad Torque Converter. I'm getting vibes from a lot of sources that the Torque Converters in these trannies are our biggest problem. To replace the Torque Converter, you will need to pull the CD4E out of the Tour. If you are going to pull the CD4E it won't be just for the Torque Converter. If the Torque Converter is discolored, it overheated and damaged the rest of the tranny. The whole assembly will have to be rebuilt. Just hope the case is not warped or cracked.
