price for the car is about $90 from a US distributor. there are a lot of vendors in Japan, but i have only found one in the US.
the mondeo body would have to be custom made, but i think i have a way of making a CAD model to make a mold. so, you'd have to buy the whole car and the additional Mondeo body. they currently offer the WRX, Supra, EVO vi, and Skyline bodies.
i'll see what i can do if i can get some solid interest.
these cars are made very well for their size. you can set up a track on your living room floor and whizz around for about 15 minutes per charge. the kit comes with the car, body, charger (which uses 6 AA batteries), and 2-channel AM remote (which uses 1 9v battery).
the scaled speed for this car is 270 MPH, so its real speed calcuates down to about 6 feet per second.
so far i see about 3 people? anyone else? i am assuming i would need about 30 to make this plausible.
