Just to interject something, 'Zetec' is what Ford calls the engine, 'Vtec' is a system of cam timing. You're trying to compare two different things in a way. Now, if we were to compare 'VCT' to 'Vtec' now that would be a discussion since those things are related although one is clearly better and more advanced than the other(vtec being the better). Now, comparing a Zetec engine against a Honda engine(b16whatever it is)
equipped with 'Vtec' then that makes a little more sense.
