If memory serves me correctly, back on Jan. 4, 1896 Utah became a state. The 45th one in the union. Arizona held out till later (because they suck), waiting until Feb. 14, 1912, making it the 48th state. Just in numbers we own you. All you own is Alaska and Hawaii.
So you are third to the end. AK, HI, and AZ all share borders with either the ocean or another country. That is just begging to be invaded! You have to worry about Mexico, Alaska has to worry about Canada, and, during a cold winter, invasion from Russia. That doesn't even bring into the subject of invasion from sea people, something which I think Hawaii should be very worried about!
