Sorry for the delay. As far as getting the motor out of the roof here are the steps:
-Pull the rubber ring on the inside of the roof away from the motor housing.
-Using a flathead screwdriver (or credit card) pop the light assembly out of the motor cover and unplug.
-Unscrew the two screws that where behind the light assembly.
-Slide the motor housing toward the rear of the car.
-You will so three screws holding the motor onto the roof. Remove screws and the motor will come down. Then you can remove the wire connections.
It's fairly simple but you need to know where the screws are located. Good luck!
