All 4 of my tires are feathering on the inside, this seems to be a constant problem, and I've had the car aligned previously, any ideas. It may pull to one side, but it's so hard to tell with this car(99 SVT) because it gives so much to the grooves of the road.
And 2, what happened to my old id, i used to be a member, but I had to reregister??

My wife's '96 SE has a problem with uneven wear because the LF is at max negative camber for factory specs while the RF has a lot less neg camber.

Unfortunately, the 'tour's front end design does not include camber adjustment, so we're stuck with the LF leaning in at the top much farther than the RF and the consequently much faster wear of the inside edge of the LF tire.

What this means is that rotation must be done very regularly in order to keep the tires wearing evenly.

Perhaps your car has the same problem, but on both sides and perhaps both ends.

Do all four of the tires feather at the same rate, or does it appear more on one (or two) tires that are then rotated so it looks like all four are affected?

I don't know if this is a definitive answer, but I thought it might help in your search.

I belive from the factory only the toe is adjustable. Perhaps there is a castor/camber kit available to zero in the alignment.

I do believe the left front is the worst wearing tire, but the front 2 are definitely more distinct than the rear. also, it's a pain because I can only rotate front to back, I guess I gotta live with it. i rotate about every 3K, but this last time, I went 6K and it seemed to just appear after this last batch of miles.
Thanks guys.

Don't feel so bad, my 95 SE wears the tires off the rear faster than the fronts. Explain that on a FWD car (and no, the brakes are not sticking, I just got 30 MPG on a recent 300+ mile trip).
