Building your own enclosures, is a simple thing but makes a huge difference in sqz, Only tools you need is wood, 3/4 inch mdf or particle board, liquid nails, 2" wood screws, Circular saw, pipe clamps, screw gun, and a jig saw to cut the hole for your speaker to fit into. Also by building your own enclosure you can make the box to the manufacturers recommended settings, IE..Theil small parameters. Also since no company that I have found makes kick panel enclosures for our cars, I will be fabricating my own fiberglass ones here within the next 1.5 weeks, plan to cover with pumice colored carpet to match my interior, and then my stereo will be complete.
