Ever watch SpeedVision and the Racing Trucks (Semi-Tractors)?

Watch the steam off of their brakes. WATER COOLED! They are sprayed with water upon brake application.

Set up an extra windshield washer reservoir and pump and spray the rotors. They cool off quick then!

My friends GT1 Mustang has water misters in the front brake ducts, but they don't spray the rotors, just put a super-fine mist into the air in the ducts to cool the air down some more.
Also, the Speedvision touring cars and GT cars are equipped (front runners at least) with liquid cooled calipers and vented titanium caps on the brake caliper pistons to allow air circulation between the piston and pad backing. Pretty trick stuff, but I don't have the budget that they do!!
I'll try to get a pic of the ducts, but I'll have to search for how to post them...it's been awhile.
