Well after much talking with my wife we have come to a conclusion. IF I can sell my car for what I owe on it or more(6500+) then I will be able to get a SVT. If I have to trade in the car or take a loss my wife wants to get an Explorer.

Saleen does make a body kit for the Exploder. Just something to keep in mind.

I'd have to accompany Brad...don't fall into the SUV trap! My mom always wanted an explorer...to drive 1 mile to work, and 1 mile back. Dad wasn't havin' it. She eventually changed jobs, and now she works about 10 miles away...and she now happily gets 17 mpg in her Explorer.

2 door I think.....I don't remember for sure. It was the late 90's body style.

Damn you anti-SUV guys.  I don't mind them. They aren't what I want but what she wants. She is the one that matters in this decision. She will drive this vehicle a lot more often then I will.
