Those wheels look great. man you car is great, inside and out. Is the wood dashboard trim stock, or did you do that yourself?

i fit the wood trim from the mondeo ghia or ghia X model. straight swap for the standard black panels.

it is RHD, but so are all the cars here!

the red car in the background is a vauxhall corsa, which are known as an Opel corsa in european countries like france, spain, italy, germany.

Half the Mondeos, maybe more, are right-side drive. (or whatever the official term is.) Because as all Americans know, Europeans drive on the wrong side of the road.

Although it's not my taste, your dash looks pretty nice. I've never seen one with the Midnight Blue interior before.

On a side note, can your rear windows go down? Why are there only two window switches on the driver-side door? This is the most detailed pic of the switches I've ever seen and it appears odd that the rear windows would be manual if the front ones are auto, or if they didn't go down at all.

Wow, good observation on the windows. I never noticed that before. Now I wanna know also.

sorry, i meant that all mondeos in UK are RHD, except a few.

in france, germany, spain, italy etc they drive on the "wrong" side of the road so their cars are mainly LHD.

the rear windows are manual. which doesnt really bother me cos i dont go in the back very often!

True (about not going back there often), but in my experience, if you want to drive with the front windows down, it's a good idea to crack open the rear windows a little so you don't feel like your in a wind tunnel in the front seats. Give it a try: drop the front windows fully and open the rears about 1-2 inches and go for a drive. It's much more pleasent.

yes i do occasionally lean back and wind the rears down a bit, cos its quieter than having the fronts open and it doesnt blow my hair out of place! at times like that i wish they were electric.

another advantage of having manual rear windows is that if i have young kids in the back in an all electric windowed car, they put the electric windows up and down all the time!

it is annoying that we have RHD cars in the UK, cos if i hire a car when abroad it is very difficult to become accustomed to driving. i wish UK was LHD like most of the rest of the driving world is. also UK should have the Euro currency which would make it easier for travelling.
