How many people have swapped the rear reflector panel from a Mystique to a CSVT? I thought I saw a pic of one, and was wondering how they got the Mercury emblem off, and if they had to fill in under it or if the emblem is just a stick-on like our door-ding guards.

Just paint your rear chrome strip black. From far away it will look like the Mystique rear reflector, but up close it will look much better.

That does look pretty damn good...
Did you paint it glossy black, or flat? Do you think flat would look like a$$, or would it match the license plate surround?

I used gloss enamel, with enamel clearcoat. In my opinion, matte would look like arse, but if you wanted the license plate surround to match just paint that gloss black as well. I'm planning on doing that soon....

BTW I'll try to get better pictures of that soon. I want to "spread the word" of this mod because it really does affect the appearance of the car very positively.
