The Pulaski is a nightmare. Known others who've been in accidents there and had cars totalled. Under 30K and a 5-speed? Passat, Maxima, Jetta VR6 (new ones are 201hp), WRX, Altima, A4 1.8T. Too bad the Mazda 6 isn't around til the end of the year, and the G35 isn't out yet with a stick. I'm partial to the A4, and you can get a Quattro 1.8T for close to $30k if you are easy on the options. Good luck and I hope it all works out.

Screw the MazdaSpeed Protege. My g/f just got the sports model 2002 Protege ES, which is basically the same car w/o the Turbo. 30HP from that 4psi turbo isn't going to transform it into a rocket, though it will probably make it a bit more fun. However, the price is MSRP+, because of the limited production run, and your color choices are orange and black.

I'd say try to find a slightly used IS300.. They can be found in the mid-20s, loaded.

Just got off the phone with the insurance company. The car is a total loss. I will be posting pics in a few hours.

Time to go car shopping. I hate car shopping.

damn skyway....where abouts was it...going to hoboken/jc that way or opposite....people have no clue what they are doing and its soo narrow there, everyone gets nervous and [censored] like this happens...wow...as long as ur ok...but as far as Audi's ...my bud has the 1,8T, Quattro...wow is all i can say...if u can afford one, def take it for a test drive...he has the 5 speed and when that turbo kicks in it is sweet...great ride, smooth and the stick is smooth, it feels like an automatic....best of luck...

Not to parade on you lose, but it sure makes me feel safe having this car. The cage of the car looks untouched. Doors didn't buckel, front tires didn't move back. Well like you see on all those crash test the insurance inst. does. Since I've been here, everyone that I have known to be in crash have walked away.
Hope you feel better and it is always fun to do some car shopping. Specially a new car HAHA
