OP 98halfSVT_dup1 Newbie 9 Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 7 Jersey City, NJ	I was in a major 5-car accident last night on the Pulaski Skyway. Car was very damaged. Everyone walked away, me and a young lady having the worst injuries. I bruised my hip and scraped my arms and hands. She was complaining of bad neck pain. At short glance, the car appeared totalled. There was a bunch of stuff just torn apart from the accident, the most noticable being the valve cover separating itself from the engine. The car was rather safe, both airbags deployed, I escaped with very minor injuries all things considered. I will post pictures of the car as soon as I can get my hands on them. OP 98halfSVT_dup1 Newbie 9 Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 7 Jersey City, NJ	According to the gentleman in the front of the "chain", a car stopped short in front of him which caused him to stop short. The first car = corolla 2 = blazer 3 = lex rx300 truck 4 = my csvt 5 = diamante 1 stopped very short, 2 just missed 1, 3 slammed into 2 and bounced off, resulting in 2 and 1 colliding, and 3 bouncing into 4, and then 5 bouncing into 4. My car was probably the worst damaged. Airbags deployed, windshield shattered, engine cracked, hood missing, headlights, front oval, battery unset, etc etc. Like i said, if i had to guess I'd say a total. I have to get up for work at 5 am tomorrow and am in a little bit of pain, so off I go. Look forward to reading tomorrow. Thanks to all those who were concerned about the safety of myself and others, as I said, I walked away with the most injuries, now basically hip pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, and a bunch of scrapes and bruises. When you relax and sleep the muscles tighten up and thats when the real pain sets in.
