I agree completely. I've also done the fog light mod. When I have my fog lights on with onthe the park lights I've had other non CEG Contour/Mistique owners ask, "How'd you do that?" Theyere amazed when I tell them. I also switched to the brighter 885 style 50w fog bulbs.

Be very careful when running the 885's. They get very hot and melt the fog light housing. On the way down to Nationals my right fog light melted all the way down though the housing and then proceeded to melt a 1" hole in the splashguard. So just a word of warning.... they get HOT!

someone had the mod on here several years ago using the second relay. All it does when the high beams came on the relay pulled up and the orange wire was series thru it would open.

I've got an '97 Mystique with DRLs, (mandatory in Canada) and it's the highs that are on at about 50% power. And no, it's not looking that great.. smile

KYO, the aftermarket/dealer installed DRLs are low-beams at 80%, I dont know why theyre not the same as factory ones but, oh well...
