You don't need to remove it to do this.
Just unhook the electrical connector to the clutch on the A/C compressor. That way when you turn your ac on, it'll just kick the fans on but won't engage the compressor.

This way when your ass is roasting this summer, you will be able to hook it back up if you want, instead of kick yourself in the ass cos you were stupid and took the whole thing out.

PS my chip for the turbo will kick BOTH fans on at a lower temp than stock, and it will switch off the IMRC and both lower O2 sensors.
